The Story So Far:
The Founding
In the Beginning
Jason Musser established what is now Musser Automotive in 2014. The early days were full of poor equipment, obscenely long hours, and most importantly many stubborn lessons learned. One constant always remained after every lesson, the will to do what's right. Our reputation slowly grew by word of mouth and after almost 7 years of hard work and with the help of some well timed luck, in the beginning of 2021 we were poised to purchase a location and make a major expansion.
Not in Kansas
In December of 2021, the tornado that cost so much of so many, also destroyed the shop. During the time immediately following this there were many encounters with those that sought to deceive and take advantage of this misfortune. Thankfully we were able to mostly avoid the snakes and got to work finding a way forward.
Rising From the storm
A New Beginning
11 months later, after a multitude of delays and yet another lesson on patience, on October 21st 2022 we acquired Lindsey Automotive and the building that housed it for so long at 1343 Old Louisville Rd. We then outfitted the new location with the best equipment and set to remodeling and improving the facility.
Continued Improvement
Many of the main renovations were completed throughout 2023 including multiple infrastructure improvements, a completely remodeled lobby, and the exterior sign and paint.
FORGING INTO THE FUTURE
Expansion
We expect to have a second major expansion in the first half of 2024. This will more than double the current work capacity and help streamline and bring to market a source of quality used vehicles for sale.
Acquisitions
Our sights are set on acquiring some of the major competitors within Bowling Green.
